Palm Sunday is the start of holy week and a time to reflect on God’s promises fulfilled. As Jesus came into Jerusalem, people came from all over to honor Him as news of His miracles had spread far and wide, and they laid down palm leaves on the ground as he journeyed into town.

Even as He explained what was to come, they did not understand that a far greater miracle was to occur where in just a few days He would no longer be celebrated but instead crucified only to rise from the grave signifying the ultimate sacrifice of unconditional love giving us all freedom over the darkness, so we can shine even brighter as we were always made to do.

Isn’t this needed now more than ever as people are fearful and worried? Instead of the news, Reflect today on the gift of hope and salvation that was to come and is available to anyone who receives. Now that is worth celebrating beautiful gems!

John 12:32 – And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
